Introduction
The Smart Digital Input Bridge allows you to integrate any device which is able to switch potential-free contacts into your existing Smart network. For example, integration can be as simple as connecting a momentairy (or maintained) switch. You can also turn it into a more advanced setup by connecting your KNX-actor, fire-alarm or UPS to your Smart Digital Input Bridge.
Up to 5 inputs are available on the Smart Digital Input Bridge, each sending it's own unique message to your Smart network. Altering priorities of each message makes it possible to override other active inputs. Additionally, the neutral state (when none of the input are triggered) can be used as a 6th input. The amount of inputs can be extended by placing multiple Smart Digit Input Bridges next to each other and configure them in such way that they are in the same Smart network.

Rotary Switch
The schematic below shows how to connect a rotary switch to the Smart Digital Input Bridge. With this configuration only one input will be activated at the same time, making the configuration of the Smart Digital Input Bridge easy to understand. In this example we will control all lights in GROUP #1 that are in the same network as the Smart Digital Input Bridge.
